Austin & Kristen.... It's Christmas time!

I've always loved decorating for Christmas! Growing up it was my mom that put the decoration stuff up, and of course we got to help. As I got into High School I always just wanted to do all the Christmas decorating my way......so I kinda did, but it still had my moms touch to it :) Well this is my first Christmas married and I get to decorate however I well please! Though I did not go all out I still have a few cute Christmas decorations up.

                                        

Christmas is a whole new experience for Austin and I this year, but we are excited to start our own traditions!

Austin & Kristen....how we met:)

Everybody always asks me, how did you and your husband meet? I usually just tell people we met through friends, I just keep it short and easy for me to tell people real fast :) But, since I have time I will tell the story more in detail. I had just gone to an awful institute dance with some friends (Sophie, Casey, Leslie), after we left we went to Casey's house. When we got to Casey's house there were already some other people there, I did not know anyone. There was one individual who was sitting in the corner playing with a etcha-sketch. Yup you called it, it was Austin haha. After I left I was told that Austin said "who was that girl drinking the soda, she was cute" . Four days later we were set up on a date.....we went bowling! About a month later Austin told me the only reason he was playing with the etcha-sketch was because he was to nervous to look at me haha. I thought it was funny, so the etcha-sketch has always been a big joke and also how he purposed to me :) So what it all comes down to is, we just happen to be at the same place at the same time!

 This picture describes Austin and I perfectly, I would rather just smile and try to look cute. Austin would  rather do something funny and just be himself. We have many pictures that describe exactly this :)

At The Beginning...

Alright here we go my blogging begins. I tried doing a blog about 5 months ago, and I just could not understand how to use any blogging techniques. With some help of some real true bloggers I think I may have the hang of things :) I wanted to start a blog for Austin and I so I can keep track of all our exciting events.....and also just life in general! Austin and I have been married for 7 months now..... 7 MONTHS, I can hardly believe it. Time flies through the fun and hard time. I want to start from the very beginning, which is about a year ago. I am gonna try my best to remember everything...I think I can do it :)
